Where It All Began
Born into a middle-class Gujarati family in Ahmedabad, Suket Amin's life took a transformative turn during an incident in 2022 when his wife temporarily lost her vision due to a medical condition.
The very next day, he visited an NGO and spoke with over 50 blind individuals. This experience opened his eyes to the daily challenges faced by visually impaired individuals — not just the physical obstacles, but the lack of affordable, accessible technology to help them navigate the world independently.
Rather than simply sympathizing, Suket made a promise to them: "Don't worry, I'll make smart glasses for you."
He began researching assistive technologies and discovered that existing solutions were either prohibitively expensive (₹3-4 lakhs) or inadequate for Indian users' needs.
This gap became his calling — to create technology that serves humanity first.
